    handy tip, you can do ctime convertion quite easily with the date command...

convert c time to GMT

	date -d '1970-01-01 1009273233 sec GMT'
	Tue Dec 25 09:40:33 GMT 2001

convert GMT to ctime

	date -d '2007-12-14 17:24 GMT' +%s
	1197653040
